Indian equities started falling again on Wednesday after a two-day rally, following cues from stock exchanges in New York and Tokyo.

The 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange, the Sensex, opened down at 11,245.27 points and had fallen further by 303.80 points or 2.65 percent to 11,179.60 by just after 10.15 a.m. The Sensex had closed at 11,483.40 points Tuesday.

At the same time, the S&P CNX Nifty index of the National Stock Exchange was at 3,433.20 points, down 2.43 per cent.
