Integrated pharmaceuticals company Jubilant Organosys reported a 10-fold rise in its consolidated net profit on Monday as the figure grew to Rs 137 crore for the January-March 2010 quarter from Rs 12 crore a year ago.

Profit was aided by a huge reduction in sales expenses.
For 2009-10, net profit grew by 49 per cent to Rs 421 crore. Annual revenues rose 7.5 per cent to Rs 3,781 crore.
Shyam S Bhartia, chairman & managing director and Hari S Bhartia, co-chairman & MD Jubilant Organosys said: “Buoyancy in growth continues and is mainly driven by our healthy order book position.”
