A two day annual meeting of the National Consortium for Open Schooling (NCOS) was organised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on March 23 and 24, 2011 in New Delhi.

A two day annual meeting of the National Consortium for Open Schooling (NCOS) was organised by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) on March 23 and 24, 2011 in New Delhi. Inaugurating the programme, S.C. Kuntia, Joint Secretary, MHRD, Govt of India, emphasised on the need for the open schooling programme to cater to the educational requirements of a large number of school dropouts at the lower secondary and higher secondary levels.
