Organic India bets on stimulant

An organic drug made from Indian herbs to enhance male libido and gradually address erectile dysfunction (ED), is the next big thing from Organic India Limited, the manufacturers and exporters of India’s first packaged organic green tea, reports Debobrat Ghose.

An organic drug made from Indian herbs to enhance male libido and gradually address erectile dysfunction (ED), is the next big thing from Organic India Limited, the manufacturers and exporters of India’s first packaged organic green tea.

The product will hit the market in the New Year, along with the organic herbal energy drink, which comes without caffeine.

The two products are part of a major expansion plan by Organic India that is set to expand into new segments such as organic spices and food grains.

With these additions to its existing over-the-counter (OTC) organic herbal medicines, the company aims to double its sales turnover to Rs. 200 crore per annum over the course of the next three years.

“O’Joy won’t act overnight and one needs to take it for a stipulated period for best results,” said Guptaa.

Apart from its five existing processing plants in Bangalore, Rajasthan and UP, the company is coming up with an integrated manufacturing plant at Bundelkhand in Uttar Pradesh by 2013 end, which will possess processing and manufacturing as well as packaging facilities.

The company is also planning to penetrate into Tier II as well as Tier III cities.
