Parshad to head of Agri Insurance Co

M Parshad has joined Agriculture Insurance Company of India as its new Chairman-cum-Managing Director with effect from Jan 1, 2006,

M Parshad has joined Agriculture Insurance Company of India as its new Chairman-cum-Managing Director with effect from January 1, 2006, replacing Suparas Bhandari who retired on December 31, 2005.

M Parshad, is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has more than 28 years of experience in the general insurance industry, AIC said in a release.

He was earlier the General Manager of Oriental Insurance Company, besides being on deputation to General Insurance Public Sector Association (GIPSA) as its Chief Executive Officer, it said.
