Ranbaxy's Toansa plant bags award

Ranbaxy's manufacturing plant at Toansa in Punjab bagged the National Award for Excellence in Water Management 2005.

Rabaxy Laboratories Ltd said on Monday that it's manufacturing plant at Toansa in Punjab bagged the National Award for Excellence in Water Management 2005.

The awards have been given in the 'Excellent Water Efficient Unit' category and 'Most Useful Presentation'.

The awards were presented at a function organized by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) in Hyderabad, the company informed the Bomaby Stock Exchange.

The Company's manufacturing plants for active pharmaceutical ingredients and dosage forms also comply with the requirements of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), it said.
