Reliance Power, an Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG) company on Friday posted a second quarter net profit of Rs 235 crore, up by 21% year-on-year, on account of doubling of its top line.

The company’s total income increased by 108% in the June- September quarter against the same quarter last year. The company’s total income was R512 crore as against Rs 246 crore in the same period last year.
Reliance power also entered in to a contract of R3,400 crore with General Electric for 2,400-megawatt gas based Samalkot project.
