The Oberoi, with the business centre, and three restaurants and the disco, would be opened later, and take at least three months to be restored. The hotel complex is situated at Nariman Point, at the extreme south end of the Marine Drive, Mumbai.

The Oberoi Group, which runs the Oberoi chain of hotels, held a condolence meet for its employees in the Trident, formerly known as the Hilton Towers at 3.30 PM on Monday.

“Four guests, 18 visitors who were dining in our restaurants and 10 of our staff members lost their lives. Of the four resident guests, three were foreigners. Three resident guests, four visitors and two of our staff members were injured and are presently in hospital,” PRS Oberoi, chairman, Oberoi Group, said in a press statement Saturday.
