Sensex down 42 points in early trade
The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex moved down by 42 points in early trade on Tuesday on small selling activity in banking and metal stocks.

The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex moved down by 42 points in early trade on Tuesday on small selling activity in banking and metal stocks.
The 30-share index, which lost 78.82 points yesterday, was quoted 42.22 points lower at 14,535.65.
Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange' index Nifty lost 18.30 points at 4,377.05.
Marketmen said trading sentiment turned sluggish following reports of a weak trend in global markets.
