The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex moved down by 69 points in early trade on Wednesday due to restricted trade at lower levels.

The 30-share index, Sensex, which reached the 21,000 level for the first time on Tuesday, rolled down by 68.99 points to 20,804.34 on emergence of profit booking in the first five minutes of trade.

Similarly, the wide-base National Stock Exchange index, Nifty, lost 34.50 points to 6,253.35 points as heavy weight stocks like ACC, Reliance Inds and BHEL traded lower.
