The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark Sensex moved up by 93 points in early trade on Wednesday on emergence of buying by funds in heavy-weight stocks led by banking and power sectors.

The 30-share index, which had lost 424.65 points in previous day's trading, recovered 92.68 points to 13,662.99 on buying by funds at existing lower level.
Similarly, the wide-based National Stock Exchange's index rose by 39.10 points to 4,166.00 points after most of the index participants traded higher.
