Tata Capital, the non-banking finance arm of Tata Sons, has decided to ramp up its travel business and focus on the retail segment. The company plans to offer a host of services from customised holiday packages for individual customers to group travel arrangements for corporate customers. At present, the company provides foreign exchange-related services to customers. It also services a few corporate clients.

TC Travel and Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Capital, will scale up its operations in a revenue-model structure, offering end-to-end travel solution to customers. Besides, it would also offer travel-related finance solutions.
"The travel segment would be our focus and we plan to spruce it up," a senior executive at Tata Capital told HT. "We want to focus on retail customers in a big way."
Tata Capital has already tied up with Axis Bank to launch the Tata Travel Card. The card will provide security and convenience to cardholders when they travel overseas.
