Unmukt Chand is Pepsi's new brand ambassador

Food and beverages major PepsiCo today said it has roped in India's U-19 Cricket World Cup winning team captain Unmukt Chand as its brand ambassador.

Food and beverages major PepsiCo on Friday said it has roped in India's U-19 Cricket World Cup winning team captain Unmukt Chand as its brand ambassador.

The youngster will feature in the company's ad campaign along with other cricketers MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina, the company said in a statement.

Commenting on the development, PepsiCo India senior director – marketing (colas, juices and yhydration) Homi Battiwalla said: "Our latest campaign takes forward the 'Oh Yes Abhi' philosophy and brings alive Unmukt's impatient moments in his first ever ad-film with MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina."

The film showcases the young emerging star impatient to be a part of the Indian cricket team which exemplifies the company's positioning in a fun and exciting manner, he added.

PepsiCo has been active in roping in young and emerging talent in the past too.
