Xerox eyes ‘Bharat’ with special plans

Global technology giant Xerox Corporation is extending its document management processes and outsourcing business across both India and remote ‘Bharat’.

Global technology giant Xerox Corporation is extending its document management processes and outsourcing business across both India and remote ‘Bharat’.

The company’s two-pronged strategy entails targeting companies in the banking, financial and insurance services sector in the metropolitan cities even as it is reaches out to SME (small and medium enterprises) through a network of channel partners and distributors across Tier-ii and Tier-III cities — Bharat.

“We have an extensive channel partner network of 500 value-added resellers, sub-distributors and service networks across 28 locations that reach out to customers across the length and breadth of the country,” said Vipin Tuteja, executive director, technology, channels and international business Xerox India. “Together they offer the right mix of coverage and reach for the SME segment.”

The document management services of Xerox include services such as payroll processing, travel and expense accounting and credit card statements among several others. The company claims that its document management service replaces cumbersome, paper-based activities with automated processes that stores content in one secure, central and highly scalable content management platform.

“A company can save up to 30% by implementing Xerox’s managed print services strategy,” explained Tuteja.
