Kalka resident Suman Kumar, contractor at the site of Lalit Hotel, IT Park, Manimajra, which was under construction, reported that someone had stolen one and a half tonne of Copper from the construction site of the hotel on October 7.

In another incident, Dashrath, a resident of Bapu Dham Colony, Sector 26, reported that someone had stolen his wife's gold chain at Nirankari Bhawan, Mauli Jagran on October 6.

The police registered separate cases of theft under sections 380 of the Indian Penal Code in both the incidents.
