At least 17 pilgrims on way to the holy Vaishno Devi cave were injured when a bus they were travelling in rammed into a wall near Nagrota area on Jammu outskirts, police said.

The bus on its way to Jammu from Katra, met with an accident at Nagrota on Friday due to negligent driving," police here said.

They said due to over-speeding, the driver failed to egotiate a sharp curve resulting into the accident. "At least 17 passengers sustained injuries and they were immediately shifted to the government medical college and hospital for treatment," police added.
