28 PCs officers complete extended term

The Punjab government has extended the term of three non-official members of the Punjab State Planning Board by two years, till December 2016.

As many as 28 PCS officers completed their extended term on Wednesday. These officers, some of who had been given more than three extensions after retirement, are Upjit Singh Brar, Balraj Singh Sekhon, Ajmer Singh, JC Sabharwal, Gurwaryam Singh, Zora Singh Thind, Pritam Singh Johal, Sukhwinderpal Singh, Avtar Chand Sharma, Mohan Lal, Narinder Singh Bath, Dharminder Pal, Narinder Singh Brar, Surinder Kaur Riar, Baljit Singh, Pritam Singh, Sukhmander Singh, Indu Mishra, Gurtej Singh, Mohan Lal Sharma, Sukhwinder Singh Gill, Ashok Kumar Sikka, Amarjit Paul, OP Popli, Kuldip Singh Chandi, Harminder Singh, Jaspal Singh and Mukand Singh Sandhu. Many of these officers have crossed the age of 62.

Term of Plannig Board members extended

The Punjab government has extended the term of three non-official members of the Punjab State Planning Board by two years, till December 2016.

They are Punjab State Farmers Commission chairman Dr GS Kalkat, Punjab Agricultural University vice-chancellor Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon and Guru Nanak Dev University vice chancellor Dr Ajaib Singh Brar, a spokesman has said.
