The UT crime branch cell has arrested two thieves involved in stealing LPG cylinders. With their arrest,police claimed to have solved three theft cases lodged at different police stations of the city, and have recovered eight LPG cylinders from their possession.
The accused have been identified as Bobby alias Gurila, 24, and Sanjay Verma, 23, both residents of Dhanas.
During the investigation, they disclosed that more than 40 LPG cylinders were stolen by them from different areas of the city.
After further investigation, five more LPG cylinders were also recovered from them.
Cops also arrested Amrish Mittal, 46, resident of Burail village. He has a shop in Burail, and used to buy stolen gas cylinders from them.
The duo used to identify the places during the day time and used to steal LPG cylinders during the night. Thereafter, they used to sell them to Mittal.
