A 40 year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping his 15-year-old niece repeatedly for three years.
The matter came to light on Friday evening when the victim narrated the entire incident to Snehalaya officials, who later approached the police and lodged a complaint against her uncle Heera Lal.

Sources said that the victim, a Class 10 student, had stated in her complaint that she had been residing with her uncle in Chandigarh while her parents were in Uttar Pradesh. A medical report has confirmed assault.
