The enforcement wing of municipal corporation (MC) Chandigarh removed encroachments from THE Motor Market in Manimajra and adjoining areas here on Monday.
As many as 43 challans were issued to violators during the drive.

The enforcement team removed and impounded 18 cars and 10 trucks, among others. In addition to this, 15 mechanic tool boxes, pulleys, oxygen cylinders, gas stoves and hydraulic jacks used in repairing vehicles were removed and seized. The drive was carried peacefully under the supervision of Kashmira Singh, superintendent, enforcement, municipal corporation.
