Around 55 per cent of Haryana's 1.31 crore voters had cast their votes till 4 pm for the Haryana assembly on Tuesday.
The fate of 1,222 candidates, including 67 women, who are in fray for 90 assembly seats in the state will be sealed on Tuesday, an official spokesman said in Chandigarh.
As many as 13,524 polling stations have been set up across the state and among them, 3,214 have been identified as vulnerable, the officials said.
Among those who had cast their votes included Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who exercised his franchise at his native village Sanghi in Rohtak district.
He had come along with his mother Hardai Devi. Hooda's wife Asha Hooda, who was followed by a group of women, also cast her vote in Sanghi.
96-year-old Shanti Devi and 105-year-old Durga Devi were among the senior citizens, who came out to cast their votes in Sanghi.
