74-year-old’s body donated to PGI

The body of 74-year-old Rajinder Kaur, who passed away on Tuesday at her house in Saketri, Panchkula, was donated to the PGIMER, Chandigarh. Kaur was the wife of Malwinderjit Singh Waraich, an eminent historian on India’s freedom movement.

The body of 74-year-old Rajinder Kaur, who passed away on Tuesday at her house in Saketri, Panchkula, was donated to the PGIMER, Chandigarh. Kaur was the wife of Malwinderjit Singh Waraich, an eminent historian on India’s freedom movement.

In a press release, the department of anatomy, PGIMER, said it was proud to receive the body for medical research. The PGIMER said Kaur used to spend her daytime working in a pharmaceutical factory and never missed a chance to be there for people in tragedy.
