Ellenabad MLA Abhay Chautala stated this while addressing a public meeting in Meham constituency of Rohtak district on Friday.

“The saffron party got frightened by the surge in the political graph of the INLD during Chautala’s active campaigning in the poll-bound Haryana. That’s why they used the CBI to get our leader’s bail cancelled. He was earlier given bail (by the court) till October 17”, said Abhay while seeking votes for Meham candidate Satish Dass.

“BJP used to blame Congress for making CBI a caged parrot, but now after coming to power they have proved that they are no different,’’ he said while urging the electorate to teach a lesson to both the BJP and the Congress.

“Ek saanpnath hai to doosra naagnath hai. Dono ko Haryana ki janata sabak sikhayegi unke priye neta ko jail bhejne ke liye. (If one of them is snake, the other is serpent. The Haryana electorate would punish for sending their leader to jail),” he added.

In another rally at Hansi, Abhay said that BJP wanted to keep Chautala behind the bars so that he could not not take part in the electioneering.

He said that Chautala was scheduled to address the Hansi rally on Friday, but due to the summons by the Delhi high court the former could not come there and he (Abhay) had to come instead.
