Additional district and sessions judge Bimlesh Tanwar on Saturday awarded 10-year jail to a Naraingarh resident for raping a minor in 2014.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 8,000 on Kuldeep, a resident of Choti Khohri village.

In his complaint, the victim's father had alleged that on June 2, 2014, his nine-year-old daughter, a Class-3 student at a local school, was alone at home, when Kulpeed entered the house and raped her.
He alleged that his daughter narrated the matter to him when he returned, following which he approached the police who arrested Kuldeep.
