Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Monday congratulated Amritsari lad Vipul Mehta for winning the prestigious title of 'Indian Idol-6'.
In his message, Badal said that it was a matter of great honour for all Punjabis that Vipul had won the title with his sheer hard work thereby exhibiting his extraordinary talent to become the heart throb of millions of his admirers not within the country but also across the globe.

The chief minister wished him a bright future and success in his life. He also congratulated Vipul's parents, friends and relatives on his rare achievement.
Meanwhile, chief minister's Advisor for National Affairs and Media Harcharan Bains said the Punjab government would also honour Vipul for his laudable accomplishment.
