Reacting on the names of 43 candidates for the assembly elections announced by the BJP, Tanwar said it had become evident that all the leaders who had left their parties and joined the BJP had been given BJP ticket for the ensuing assembly elections. "This has made it amply clear that the BJP did not have its own leaders and it was an opportunist of highest order as it had fielded the same deserters as its own candidates," he said.

Tanwar said people of Haryana knew well how the BJP had betrayed the Haryana Vikas Party and Indian National Lok Dal in the past and Haryana Janhit Congress, recently. Terming the BJP a selfish party, he said even the INLD was B team of the BJP.
