Corruption issue, current political and economic situation of the country and upcoming Assembly polls in different states will be the main issues to be discussed at the BJP's National Executive and National Council meeting which starts on Wednesday.
The BJP will also chalk out a strategy against the Congress-led UPA government in the three-day meeting here.
The party's National Executive meeting will be held on Wednesday while Council meeting will be held on September 27-28.
"The National Executive and National Council meeting will discuss the current political and economic situation of the country," " BJP vice-president Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters here on Tuesday after inaugurating media centre at the meeting complex.
"Our focus will be on scams under the UPA regime and upcoming Assembly polls in six states including Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh," he said.
Naqvi alleged that the UPA government has 'lost' its credibility due to 'scams'.
He said senior BJP leaders L K Advani, party president Nitin Gadkari and other leaders including Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitley, Murli Manohar Joshi, Rajnath Singh and Venkaiah Naidu, all the BJP chief ministers including Gujarat CM Narendra Modi, deputy chief ministers and others will participate in the meet.
Naqvi said the party will also discuss organizational elections, membership drive and other issues.

{{/usCountry}}He informed that about 300 delegates will attend the National Executive while more than 1,200 delegates will take part in National Council.
"Price rise, corruption, scams including coal blocks scam and FDI in retail sector will be discussed," the BJP MP said.
He added that the party will also decide on a strategy to take the price rise and coal 'scam' issue before the people.
