BJP supporters celebrate Modi’s swearing-in as PM

Workers at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in sector-33 distributed sweets and chanted slogans in favour of Narendra Modi when he took oath as the Prime Minister of the country, in Delhi.

Workers at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office in sector-33 distributed sweets and chanted slogans in favour of Narendra Modi when he took oath as the Prime Minister of the country, in Delhi.

Large number of workers had gathered to see the live telecast of the swearing-in ceremony on an LED screen installed at the party office. Workers burst crackers and distributed sweets as soon as Modi completed his oath.

Sanjay Tandon, the local unit president, who was in Delhi to attend the swearing-in ceremony expressed hope that under Modi the country would usher in an era of peace, prosperity and communal harmony. Apart from Tandon, Member parialment, Kirron Kher, former member parliament, Satya Pal Jain and the party’s organisational general secretary Ajay Jamwal also attended the swearing-in ceremony at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

In another function organised by Saurabh Joshi in Sector 15, people celebrated on the completion of the oath-taking ceremony .
