Borewell mishaps: HC issues notice of motion to Haryana

HC has taken suo motu notice regarding the 4-year-old child Mahi who died after falling into a 68-foot-deep borewell in Manesar district of Haryana on June 25. The court has today issued a notice of motion to Haryana to submit a detailed report by July 21 on all such incidents.

Incidentally, on Sunday a one-and-a-half-year-old boy named Sachin had fallen into a 20-foot-deep pit at Chukma village in Gurgaon. The boy was however quickly rescued.
