Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leaders Kewal Krishan Chauhan and Shiv Ram Chauhan on Friday joined the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) in the presence of SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal here.

Sukhbir said on the occasion that 5-6 Congress MLAs would join the SAD before the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Parliamentary Secretary Chaudhary Nand Lal. Meanwhile, Badal announced that 5-6 more sitting MLAs were all set to join Shiromani Akali Dal before Lok Sabha elections.
Kewal Krishan Chauhan had contested the 2009 Lok Sabha polls as a BSP candidate from Anandpur Sahib, while his brother Shiv Ram had contested the 2012 state assembly polls from Balachaur. Both had lost.
