To tackle with increased number of dog-bite cases in city every day, the municipal corporation is coming up with another anti-rabies clinic at civil dispensary, Sector 35, Chandigarh.
The project will get the final nod at the finance and contract committee meeting on Tuesday.

The new clinic will have two additional pharmacists and an additional ward servant. The anti-rabies vaccination will be given at Rs 100 per dose to dog-bite victims, while total five vaccinations will cost Rs 500.
Till now, dog-bite victims have been treated at Sector-19 civil dispensary, the only rabies clinic in the city. Every day, nearly 25 dog-bite cases are reported from city.
