The Congress said today that emerging polling results in Punjab, where it is trailing behind the ruling Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) combine were "extremely baffling".
Congress spokesperson Abhishek Singhvi also told a television news channel that the Uttarakhand trends where a clear victory is eluding the Congress was "disappointing".
