Congress Sohna MLA Dharambir Singh joins BJP

Congress sitting MLA from Sohna, Dharambir Singh, resigned from Congress and joined BJP on Friday. He had recently announced to contest Lok Sabha polls from Bhiwani-Mahendergarh and also resigned from the post of chief parliamentary secretary on March 9.

Haryana Congress president Ashok Tanwar has also served a show-cause notice on him for indulging in anti-party activities on Wednesday.

Dharambir had on Sunday organised a rally in Bhiwani where he publicly criticised the Congress-led government in Haryana and also announced his resignation from the post of chief parliamentary secretary.
