Cops arrest Nigerian resident for drug peddling
The local police have arrested Cyril Archipang, a resident Nigeria who resides in Phase 68, Mohali, near Naka Daria, on Wednesday. They recovered 43 grams of cocaine from his possession. A case under section 21 of the NDPS Act has been registered in the Industrial Area police station, Chandigarh.

The local police have arrested Cyril Archipang, a resident Nigeria who resides in Phase 68, Mohali, near Naka Daria, on Wednesday.
They recovered 43grams of cocaine from his possession. A case under section 21 of the NDPS Act has been registered in the Industrial Area police station, Chandigarh.
The accused has been sent to three days police remand as directed by the chief judicial magistrate. In 1998, he was caught for drug peddling and was sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment, but as he had applied bail in High Court, and was released in 2009.
