Issuing notice to the Delhi Police, justice Pratibha Rani sought its reply by Monday.

Chaddha, 40, had moved the high court on Thursday, challenging the sessions court's October 16 order that denied her bail.

Chaddha, who along with Kanda has been accused of abetting Geetika's suicide, had sought bail on the ground that the police had already filed its chargesheet in the case and the probe against her was complete.

She had also sought bail saying that she was a single parent and had a minor daughter and aged parents to look after.

Geetika, 23, was found dead at her Ashok Vihar residence in North West Delhi on August 5.

In her suicide note (written on August 4), she had said that she was ending her life due to "harassment" by Kanda and Chaddha, a charge denied by them.
