While PM's flight landed at the technical area at about 2.45pm, almost all flights operated on time, barring a few which were late by around an hour owing to weather conditions.

A senior official with an airlines said, “There was no chaos as such, since the arrival and departure of the PM's flight was from the technical area. A few flights were delayed but that was because of the weather conditions”.

Meanwhile, the flights which were affected included Jet Airways flight to Mumbai which departed at 1.55pm against its scheduled departure of 12.45pm. The Indigo flight to Mumbai was delayed by 45 minutes and the departure of another Jet Airways flight to Delhi was delayed by about an hour.

The approach road outside the airport was also clear with traffic moving smoothly. Except a ten minute hold-up outside the airport after the PM landed, not much activity was witnessed.
