A common educational conference of associated and affiliated school of t he state of Punjab was held under t he Punjab Privat e School s Organisation (PPSO) here in SAS Nagar on Sunday.

More than 500 delegates of PPSO from all districts of Punjab participated in this state-level educational conference.
The chief guest was Professor James Tooley, professor of education policy, University of New Castle, UK. Tooley is known for his education research in favor of low-cost private schools in developing and developing countries. He has conducted research in Hyderabad, Delhi and Patna in Bihar for such schools.
He said that low-cost private schools provide better education than gover nment schools and parents have a choice.
