The Union ministry of external affairs has lauded Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) for organising a five-day webinar series on “Managing the Covid- 19 pandemic: Experience and best practices of India”.
The webinar was organised by the institute’s department of community medicine and school of public health for health professionals from West Africa, the Caribbean islands and South American countries.
In a video message, TS Tirumurti, secretary (economics relations), MEA, thanked all participants for contributing to the exchange of ideas and best practices.
PGIMER director Dr Jagat Ram and Dr Sonu Goel, programme director, thanked MEA for the initiative and the participants for engaging and preparing an action plan for their countries to manage the Covid-19 crisis.
