Can a ‘Commerce Or Arts’ student join CPL course? A student, who has passed 10 +2 from a recognised Board with “Commerce or Arts” subjects, should be required to pass maths and physics in 10+2 with from a recognized Board, to become eligible for CPL.

A student, who has passed 10 +2 from a recognised Board with “Commerce or Arts” subjects, should be required to pass maths and physics in 10+2 with from a recognized Board, to become eligible for CPL.

What is DGCA?

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is a statutory authority under the Ministry of Civil Aviation that overseas all issues regarding airworthiness and licensing of personnel in India. It is the authority to issue licence’s to pilots and has many other roles to oversee the issues.

NOTE: There a total of 40 flying training organisations accredited to the DGCA. (Updated list as on June 5, 2014, is available at dgca.nic.in/licencing/fly-ind.htm)
