Additional district and sessions judge Arun Kumar Singal pro-nounced four youths guilty of robbing residents here on Thursday.
Those convicted have been identified as Rahul, Suresh and Ravi-- all residents of Rajiv Colony, Panchkula, along with Ri nku, a re s i de nt o f Mauli Jagran.
The quantum of sentence would be pronounced on May 26.
Another accused in the case was a juvenile at the time of arrest and his case is pending before the juvenile justice board.
All the four convicts were booked on complaint of Baltana resident Raj Kumar on December 22, 2013.
The complainant claimed that on the intervening night o f December 2 1 a nd 2 2 , he, along with his nephew, were riding a motorcycle when the convicts intercepted and attacked them.
They snatched Kumar's mobile phone and his nephew’s purse before fleeing from the spot.
