GJ Singh is new IG CRPF in Jammu region

Gurinder Jit Singh today took over as the new inspector general of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Jammu. Singh will succeed former IG AM Mohammad, who retired in April, a CRPF spokesperson said here.

The 1967-batch officer was posted at the CRPF headquarters in New Delhi and has already served six years in Jammu and Kashmir in various capacities, he said.
