A student can download the admission form and submit it at the college counter or send it by registered post. A demand draft of Rs 225 in favour of ‘Principal, Govt. Home Science College, Sector 10, Chandigarh’ must be attached to the completed form.

A student must apply on a separate form if applying for more than one course. Each form must have its own set of Detailed Marks Certificates (DMCs) and other relevant certificates as indicated in the college prospectus. The last date for submission of completed forms is June 30.

The college is offering a three-year BSc home science degree with the following specialisations: apparel and textile design, composite and dietetics, human development and family relations, interior design andresource management. The eligibility for the course is Class 12 or its equivalent. The college is also offering a three-year degree course in BSc fashion design, which is a self-financing course.
