'Govt should take decisions in favour of its employees'

"The association has submitted a 96-point demand charter of the employees to the government and it must take decisions in favour of the employees to avoid confrontation in future," Jogta said while addressing mediapersons at Sundernagar on Friday.

He said the government should put an end to contractual system in state jobs and out-sourcing of jobs or otherwise it should frame a policy over the issue with provision to regularise the employees after a minimum period of job.

"Our association is against the backdoor entry and appointment of employees through outsourcing the jobs or appointments through the head of the department on contract basis," he added.

He said the association had established sub-committees department wise to discuss the issues and later on discuss the outcome of the same in general meeting of the association later on.

He said that the association has demanded removal of age and other criteria's while providing jobs to the kin of deceased employee on compassionate ground.
