Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) has been catching an officer every third day in a crackdown on graft by laying traps on specific complaints.
In November alone, the bureau has arrested 10 officers and completed its inquiry in five other cases of accepting bribe to file a charge sheet, a spokesman here has stated on Sunday. It caught more than 30 officers in October, by a statement issued last month.
The bureau has also registered a disproportionate assets case against a government officer and initiated fresh inquiries in seven other cases, the spokesman has added.
