Haryana state vigilance bureau has caught canal patwari of Rakhigarhi and Narnaund villages in Hisar district red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 1,500 on Wednesday.
The accused Jai Bhagwan was caught when he was accepting money from Dashrath, a resident of Rakhigarhi village in lieu of fixing the 'barabandi' (turn) of water for his agriculture land.

A case has been registered against the patwari. under sections 7 and 13 of Prevention of Corruption Act.
