Four kg heroin worth Rs 20 croresmuggled from Pakistan was seized at the Indo-Pak border in Ranian village here, police said on Monday.

The seizure was made in a joint operation by BSF and Punjab Police.

DIG BSF MF Farooqui and Punjab Police SSP Amritsar (Rural) Jasdeep Singh said four packets of the contraband were yesterday recovered 50 metres ahead of the Border Security fence along the International Boundary.
