Hooda govt's development slogan hollow: SBP

Puncturing the state Congress development model, Samast Bharatiya Party (SBP) president Sudesh Aggarwal on Tuesday said that Hooda government's 'development' slogan was hollow as the state was reeling under a debt of Rs 16,000 crore. He said that only a fraction of public funds were being utilised for development, while the rest drained out in paying the interest of debt.

Puncturing the state Congress development model, Samast Bharatiya Party (SBP) president Sudesh Aggarwal on Tuesday said that Hooda government's 'development' slogan was hollow as the state was reeling under a debt of Rs 16,000 crore. He said that only a fraction of public funds were being utilised for development, while the rest drained out in paying the interest of debt.

Aggarwal said this while addressing advocates at the district bar association here. He said that corruption was the root cause of bad governance. He also questioned the promises made by principal opposition party, Indian National Lok Dal, in its poll manifesto released recently.

On his party, he said that they would provide right alternative to existing political parties with transparency, equal opportunity, equal development and focus on jobs and education. He also donated Rs 1 lakh to the district bar association.
