The 12-member group, led by Sandeep Kumar, has performed Bhangra at various cultural venues in Cairo during the week-long festival, which hosted performance by troupes from 22 countries worldwide, including Egypt, India, Mexico, Ethiopia, Russia, South Korea, Armenia, Pakistan, Alegria, United Arab Emirates and others.

In addition to this festival, the group has also performed at Al Sadat University at their Heritage Festival inauguration on 22nd of April.

The famous Indian folk dance is performed by Sikh men in the agricultural belt of the Punjab State.

The dance is primarily associated with the harvest season particularly in the month of April.

The dancers were supported by various props and dhol (a doubled headed drum).

The performers wore colourful dresses with shiny short jackets and loose shirts with flowing lungis and a huge, crimped, fancy turban. They enjoy Bhangra with props (dance sticks, scarves etc), colourful fun costumes along with the foot tapping music.
