ITBP constable duped by man

A constable of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was duped by an unidentified man after he managed to withdraw money from his account by using his ATM card.

A constable of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was duped by an unidentified man after he managed to withdraw money from his account by using his ATM card.

Police said constable Parnav reported at the police station that a man duped him on the pretext of helping him to withdraw the money and in the process withdrew Rs 1.77 lakh from his account.

The constable alleged the unidentified person changed his ATM card with his card and withdrew the money.

The constable had met the accused at the Motor Market, Manimajra on October 12. A case of cheating has been registered against the alleged accused at Manimajra police station and investigation is on.
