According to the rules, meritorious children belonging to weaker sections of the society should be given 25% reservation in all private schools and on the same fees as they were charged in government schools.

Krishan Hooda, president of Hooda Khap said: "Private schools are not willing to admit children from the weaker sections of society, despite a rule in place, government must ensure the strict implementation of 134A."

He said: "Members of Khap panchayats will go in public and spread the awareness regarding the existence of 134-A rules."
President of the Rohtak organisation, advocate Satvir Singh said, "According to a new ruling of the high court, children of not only BPL cards holders fall in this category, but families earning up to Rs 2 lakh per annum fall in category of weaker section."

While members of Hooda khap called a meeting on September 9 also in Brahmwas Basantpur village of the district to chalk out plans for enforcing 134-A, members of eight Khap panchayats attended the meeting at Chottu Ram park on Sunday.
